How to Host a SEOPA Conference

Proposals for the 2020 and 2021 fall conferences are now being accepted. Bid forms are due by June 1, 2018. Please read Page 2 of the form thoroughly, as it will answer many questions about SEOPA and our basic conference requirements. Finalists will need to make an in-person presentation to the board of directors at its meeting in Florence, S.C., Tuesday, Oct. 2.)

Tourism agencies and resorts are encouraged to join SEOPA as corporate members and have representatives attend the annual conference to learn more about SEOPA’s unique needs and the benefits of hosting a SEOPA conference. Click here for membership information.

SEOPA conferences have an average total attendance of approximately 230 people who utilize an average of more than 500 room nights. Food and beverage guarantees range from 120 to 220 people for three breakfasts, one lunch, two dinners and three hospitality hours. Additional meals and activities were held off-site in the surrounding communities.
