Conference Details and Reminders

• ATTIRE - Dress is casual for all functions this year though business casual is certainly welcome at the Friday night awards banquet. Please be prepared to be outdoors in the afternoons with comfortable shoes and clothing, sunscreen, etc.

• AGENDA and ANNOUNCEMENTS - Please review the conference agenda and familiarize yourself with the meeting spaces. Conference Chairman Josh Honeycutt will make announcements at every meal. Please listen carefully for time and/or location changes. If you need something announced, please see Josh Honeycutt, Lisa Snuggs, or a board member.

• BADGES - Your badge is your passport to all conference functions. Please wear it at all times. Ribbons are worn to identify officers, board members, past presidents, advisors, new members, speakers, award winners, etc.

• BREAKOUT DAY - This event is intended as an opportunity for media members to learn about products, services, and story ideas from corporate members. In many cases, free samples are offered during this event. Spouses, guests, and corporate members should not solicit such items. No minors allowed other than members. Lunch will be provided courtesy of the Alabama Blackbelt Adventures Association.

• SHOOTING - Shooting during Breakout Day will consist mostly of a clays competition hosted by Linda Powell at Mossberg. Details will be announced on Registration Day. No personal firearms are allowed during this event. No minors other than members are allowed.

• MEALS AND HOSPITALITIES - Minors (under 18 years of age) who are not SEOPA members are not allowed at these functions unless pre-approved by the board for a special function.

• TRANSPORTATION - Transportation is available but limited for our visit to the Adventures on the Gorge on Thursday (45 minutes from the Resort) and to the Bechtel Summit on Friday (30 minutes) so you are welcome to drive for more flexibility.
